Courchevel

For the coming season 2014 / 2015, the ski area will open on Friday, December 6th and closes on the 26th April 2015 La Tania opens a week later and closes a week earlier.

The 3 Valleys is the largest ski area in the world with 200 lifts, 330 pistes and over 600 km of ski runs.

The Trois Valleys area is made up of resorts: Courchevel, Motteret, Meribel, Saint-Martin de Belleville, Les Menuires, Val Thorens.

Season 2014 and 2015 we have included SKI TOURING COURSES for our clients on one day tours checking out the amazing 3 Valley area. This may suit people visiting on a BUSINESS trip and want a quick day ski-ing around the Valleys without constantly looking where to go and finding the best pistes. Or perhaps groups of friends or families who would like to tour together. The distance and runs we can go on will depend on the level of the group .

For those who are of an intermediate level with not a particularly high level of fitness can enjoy going from Courchevel to Meribel, Mottaret possibly St Martin de Belleville and back. Fitness and technique plays a big part of touring and visiting areas further afield.

For skiers who are fit and confident with a sound technical ability can expect go over to Mottaret, ski Mont Vallon onto Val Thorens easily taking in several runs including the 4th Valley, Orelle and then onto the Pointe de la Masse at 2804m in Les Menuires and back to Courchevel.

Weather also plays a large part of taking off on a 3 Valley trip . Weather can close in very quickly and we have to be sure we are able to return to your accommodation. Therefore before we set off , if there has been adverse weather conditions forecast , leaving the resort to tour will be the decision of the instructor.
